A free, 24/7 text-based service for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Text Home or Hola to 741741 for confidential support.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Helpline
Provides free information, referrals, and support for people with mental health conditions and their families. Call 1-800-950-6264, Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. ET.
SAMHSA’s National Helpline
A free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing substance use disorders. Call 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or use the online treatment locator to find local support, treatment options, and recovery resources.
Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) Peer Communities
Free, anonymous online peer-to-peer support groups for those with anxiety, depression, or related disorders to share experiences and find community.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
A free, global fellowship of people who support each other to achieve and maintain sobriety from alcohol. Find local or online meetings, connect with a community, and access recovery resources through their website or by calling 1-212-870-3400 (U.S. office).

Offers free, 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth via call (1-866-488-7386), text (678-678), or chat.
